Description
I picked the Greater Kudu to sketch here because I wanted a challenge. The horns presented this with all the twists, ripples, and shadows. I even surprised myself with the closer ear. Although it is hard to see on this scanned image, the ear actually looks like it is coming off the page. I must say though, his eye captures me the most.

the horns are very finely drawn--the entire drawing is very very good---consider some punctuation with very fine dark strokes on the fur at on the back, lower face and neck---
