Description
This is a view of the USS Intrepid passing Jupiter on its way to Neptune to rendezvous with the USS Lewis & Clark. The Intrepid is traveling at a little over 70,000 MPH. The next picture I hope to show is the gravity assist with Jupiter to hopefully increase the ships speed to a little over 85,000 MPH. The Intrepid is preparing to fire its main thruster for injection into Jupiter gravitational field. This model was created in Bryce 5 from scratch, all concepts and designs by me. The JEPG of Jupiter by way of JPL/NASA. The starfield was created in Universe one point at a time than repeated 2 more times using different spacing and intensities; this is to create the sense of a 3 dimensional starfield.
Thanks for viewing my work and taking the time to comment.

Hi David. This is superb work like all the rest of your images. Great work on getting the shadows on Jupiter to match the Intrepid.
I'm really enjoying this series! You've done excellent modeling and your storyline is very realistic.
