Description
Anthros is a habitable planet that is larger than Earth with a very large supercontinent. The continent is dry and dusty, while the temperature extremes within the interior range from -60F in the winter to 125F in the summer. Despite its inhospitality, humankind settled Anthros because it is a metal heavy planet. Mining is the largest industry and the planet ability to market its raw materials to other planets has left its inhabitants wealthy with a high standard of living.
There are very few roads on Anthros. Most people use flying vehicles for transportation. Dust storms can be severe enough that all flights across the planet are canceled. Here we have a young woman who is intent upon heading out in spite of the gathering dust storm. She probably has time to beat the storm to her destination, but it will be close.

Personal Note: Haven't been posting much because I badly sprained my hip about three weeks ago. Ended up in the Emergency Room and was pretty doped up with painkillers and muscle relaxants for the first week. They managed to destroy the lining of my stomach and esophagus and that had to be treated as well. The past two weeks have been spent doing Physical Therapy. Things are improving but recovery is a slow two steps forward, one backward sort of thing. Needless to say being creative has not been a high priority.

The above picture is an oldie that I've gone back to and worked some more upon. Really just a doodle. Thanks for stopping by to look and for all your previous comments.

Interesting image Jeremy, well done!
Fun scene! I want a real retro car so I can go zooming around. We don't have a lot of traffic since I live in a rural area, but I bet it would be fun in the cow pasture. :O)
so good Jeremy ...i hope you get well very soon ! hugs!
Awesome image Jeremy!! I can relate to the whole injury thing except mine was a knee.. It really does seem that when everything begins to look good, something comes along to set you back.. Hang in there!! It will get better ...

Hey, it's 2009.. where's my flying car? Nice image, Jeremy. Good luck with the PT. I had a back thing last year where the Doc wanted to give me all sorts of happy pills. Stuff scares me. The bottles are still nearly full.
Cool! Get well soon. Meds and my stomach don't go that well together either.
Simple yet busy, very well done
