@ Savage_dragon: Thanks for visiting and your kind comments. Yep, one keeps trying to attain that ultimate scene which is elusive. We'll just keep n trying - don't know if we'll ever get there.
Now this one reminds me of an old Richard Widmark movie I watched on Saturday. Can't remember the name of it, but it was the 'old' west and this is so evocative of that same setting. Excellent work Bob... love the grasses which give the feel of 'almost' summer.
Nice one Bob...but you know I like contrast...sometimes I go too far but I do think a bit more contrast could help this look even more photo-realistic.
