Here would be a long descritpion, you see complete HDR from the begining to the end including HDR rendering in Poser Pro with gamma correction, HDR Light, HDR Maps and tone mapping, I was working last night on realistic skin shader nodes for Byson, including
Subsurface Scattering maps (skin )
Specular maps (skin, teeth)
Shiny maps (skin, teeth)
Bump maps ( skin,teeth)
Refraction maps( eyes,teeth)
Translucence maps(teeth)
Color maps ( figure)
a lot of stuff in HDR format.
Please note that the original color maps do not include any shiny reflections , everything was generated while rendering.
this face fragment reminds me some way of Tom Cruise , I don't know why lol I hope you like this new render. Have a great weekend and show up on mec4d's website this weekend if you have time ;) Much Love and Light always, Cath

That is... I'm old enough to remember when this kind of thing was totally impossible on a super-computer, and now you can do it with a PC. Awesome!

Thank you, I tell you rendering time was not longer that 4 min on Dual Core 64-bit system and Vista. I was thinking it will take forever with the all 2GB maps i loaded into but well it worked smooth and rendered on maximum firefly setting , all maps was in resolution of 4000x4000 tif , my new VAIO laptop make me so glad :)
Looks like he is coming along great. His nostrils seem to still need a little work, though. Looking forward to this product! Jay
Yes Jay, the nostrils changed when I made this face expression in funny way, can't fix it in this image any way. this only one thing what bother me here about.

To tell you the truth I am not really into the MAT, but I do it my old-school way using image maps and 10 years experiences with Poser pay off sometimes ;) but not always.. the old way still works wonderful with the new technology until they find out how to make everything synthetic.

Once i find my jaw i will comment here, lol Now serious, your texture over the entire skin and the maps working together its amazing! awesome facial hair effect indeed! about the nostrils..maybe you invaded (even a lil can have a huge effect when a morph is used) the nostrils region with the skin shaders... or viceversa? A real proffesional texture work Cath, Congrats!
