Description

... strange.. but I just finished a long render in Poser... yeah I like it... sorta... but while it was doing the render, I went roaming around my hard drive.. and came across this image.. shot in 2001, and it took me back to a time.. when all I really needed in life.. was me... it sounds lonely... it was lonely... but I learnt a lot.. and dreamed of greater things that came true... well in part anyway. So... cutting the crap... this is our "Back Beach"... Taranaki, New Plymouth... The Sugar Loaf Islands. It's actually a volcanic crater, but buried under water. It's linked to our mountain.. and if one blows, the other will too... in time, both are active. Anyway.. where the hell is my Poser shortcut on my desktop??? Deane

True words Deane, I can remember a time when I got my first TV, it was a second hand just like the car I bought some time later, but I was really happy with them. Now I buy a new flatscreen and a new car and they mean almost nothing to me, life can be strange sometimes. Awesome scenery you have there, excellent shot.

Pictures are like songs... they take you back.... I get a kick out of some friends that say: "this is my favorite group" - years later, they say they don't like them anymore and the music is old.... Not me... Music never gets old.... I bet when you saw this picture it felt new and it just grabbed you all over again... I know why you like this... It reminds you of me telling you to make those mountains bigger - lol

Visited NZ when I was a teen with my family on vacation. Love the place. The whole package people history countryside.... Beautiful picture, If you have more please share.
