Description
A beautiful place after I followed the river along the previous image of the Misty Mountains in Connemara.
Just before you approach Leenane, you will pass by Ashleigh Falls. In the latter part of the summer you can observe Salmon jumping up these falls, a spectacular sight for those lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. Unfortunately not so on the day of my visit.
Wishing all my friends here a very happy Easter.

Happy Easter Danny, this is such a beautiful place and as always your photography is impeccable. I would love to see this place when the salmon are there, hugs Jane xx
A very moody soft image and full of contrasts at the same time. Beautiful.
Great POV Danny, wonderful countryside here.
Superb misty render of these waterfalls set in the majesty of Connemara mountains...I passed Leenane quite a few times and these falls are not unknown to me ;-)Excellent photography, my friend!
FANTASTIC WATERFALL, GREAT SHOT!
Incrediblely Majestic and very regal these falls...What a Beauty!!!!!!.
well there's no doubt about it, after walking in your gallery I'm gonna have to move to your part of the world. This is lovely. In addition to the natural loveliness of the shot, you got a misty softness that makes it look a bit like a painting. And there's a softness to the edges of the trees, and one of them fades into a luminous blue-green (at top) that is beautiful. And the cloud cover swallows up the top of the shot beautifully. Another beautiful landscape from you, which, by now, is hardly a surprise. Fine work.
Beautiful! Hoping you had a great Easter!
