Description
Alligators do not have to eat on a regular basis. This ‘gator’ is about 8 feet long and is willing to lay in the sun, every day and wait for a chick to fall or get pushed out of the nest, by the dominant sibling. There is only so many fish that the parents can bring back to the nest so the stronger chick eliminates the competition. Sad but true.

Woah! When this first opened, all I saw was the birds, then I scrolled down and saw the gator! Great shot!
Opportunistic things those gators are! I think I also would move my nest to someplace they couldn't get to!
