Description
I captured this scene a couple of weeks ago as the sun was rising. I was lacking inspiration for the "smalls" I normally love to shoot, and saw this interesting sky. After capturing a few images, the sun broke through the clouds and I made sure I was using my smallest f-stop to create the star burst effect on the sun (no filter necessary.) Only postwork was some simple levels and curves adjustments to add contrast.
