Description
IT HAS BECOME THE NORM FOR SUBDIVISIONS IN FLORIDA TO COME WITH A FEW RETENTION PONDS THESE DAYS. I WAS WORKING WITH A FRIEND WHEN THIS ONE FLEW IN AND STARTED WALKING ALONG THE BANK OF THIS POND.
WHAT BOTHERS ME ABOUT THIS BIRD IS WHAT APPEARS TO BE A WOUND TO THE NECK. IT MAKES ME WONDER IF IT STILL LIVES.
TAKEN 2 SUMMERS AGO.

Beautiful shot, I love all the leaves floating in the water, and lets hope he is okay..
Beautiful bird and a stunning capture. I hope that it was not a human that damaged such a magnificent bird. Lets hope that it is still with us. Dana P
