this was gonna be an entry into the cosmos image contest but a funny thing happened on the way to the .jpg .the horizontal and vertical lines are artifacts that only become visible in trace.this is done in 2.0 cuz i wuz gonna use lens flare,so i was able to make all the planes non shadowcasting with noshadow.itx, and it's cool fog trick but i have no idea what caused the line artifacts...a mystery fir sure....any ideas?

cool lens flares, nice nebulae too. Is that RJJ coriolis in the galaxy ?
thanx richard,,,bo...it's ABTornado.itx...but good guess...i did use it tho it's morphed waaaaay downso onlt a bit shows...i used ABTornadoabout 3 or 4 times on diff'rent planes for this...along with a bunch of others which i can't recall without lookin at the model...which i ain't rite now
Well Cool! I, personally, don't think that the Artifacting detracts from the image- it adds a sense of distance. Although that might just be me! As to what caused them, did the planes have Filter applied? I don't know about IFW, but, with IFA 3, Filter sets Reflect, even though the Attribute is set to zero. If so, you might find that setting the Reflect to 1 helps lessen/eliminate the effect (or not, as the case may be)
Kevin, I agree, kinda looks like the piect together images you sometims get from nasa, but i wanted something else.Yes,but they are also fog objects as that's what makes noshadow.itx work...I wanted, for some reason t trace it,and didn't want the clouds shadowing each other,so good guess, but good factoid on the filter/reflect thing...never knew that..thanx man
very strong expression and a very unique look - I like it very much
