Description
This morning I went to the British Museum specifically to see the Great Court. It was a good choice of day as the sun was very bright and the pattern of the glass roof gave reflections all over. It was opened in 2000 and is the largest coered public space in Europe. In the centre ,like a large cylinder, is the famous Reading Room where so many personalties studied. I did like the area very much..full of visitors deciding which exhibition to visit!
Thanks for stepping inside and taking a look. Jean

Wonderful picture and interesting history! thank you for sharing it with us
Are you sure you want the Mojo gallery - not the Modo gallery?
Interessanter Blick :-) Sollte die Photografie nicht etwas in Select : Photographie gelegt werden ? Mojoworld ist Renderingimages. Gruß JW
What a lovely design those ceiling tiles make! Nice shot!

wow! very beautiful court and great history...superb shot jean!!
Wonderful image and interesting history :) 5*
Checking your gallery I think you meant to add this to the photography gallery...this in Mojoworld a 3D planet rendering app. HEHE we all make mistakes. Nice photo BTW the light & shadows play a good part in the overall composition. You have a Cyan colour cast also...but could be due to skylights etc?!
Well seen again, great shadow patterns in this building!
