Description
Dear Friends
I had a very stern talking to on the telephone by Piet earlier tonight and I have subsequently decided to quickly pop in before it turns ugly! *straight face*
Yes, I am still alive. My work has really kept me very busy the last couple of weeks and I also had some minor health issues. All is well though and as from today I am on vacation until March 30th.
I just want you all to know that I really miss you and think of you often! Hopefully I will be back in high spirits and full of energy after the rest.
Hugs
Carin xx

What a gorgeous photograph! The reds are perfect, and that's not easy to do. Stunning! Heartfelt thanks to Piet for kicking your behind and making you drop by! He's a hard taskmaster, and it's good you've listened to him. :| Have a wonderful trip! I'll hope to see pics when you get back. Give Bruce a hug for me, and keep one for yourself. :)
Beautiful...
Hi my friend - so, the next phonecall for me would probably also be from Piet... still struggeling on this side of the Vaal - not posting, not commenting... although no holiday to look forward to. Great picture... XXX
A wonderful flower capture indeed. Good to see you again, Carin. I wish you both a wonderful vacation :-)
LMAO! It serves you right for hiding away and thinking you can get away with it madam! :D Lovely red and good to see you still think of us. May you and Bruce have an awesome time away at the Skeleton coast Carin. We are waiting for the pics....

Glad to see a posting from you and it looks splendid in red. Enjoy your holiday.
Beautiful Carin! Have a great rest and vacation! I'm not back yet either but hope to be soon! Miss everyone and all the lovely works, will be watching for your return!
hope you have a great trip, look forward to seeing what pictures you bring back with you.. maybe even one of those light-pollution-free star trails you mentioned.. ;)
really beautiful shot Carin. welcome back from your busy schedule.
I thought that you were both too busy enjoying life and working hard Carin. This is a colourful and pretty flower, have fun in Namibia, enjoy your trip
Nice shot love the matching frame.
I love the composition and the subtle pinks in the flower look great with the hot reds. I do hate the border though - takes away from the flower's beauty (sorry) Nevertheless, a beautiful image to see today!
