Description
Not really a landscape, but it is in a way. To my eye it's a miniature landscape. I like the texture of this old piece of root from an upturned tree. I like the way the frost looks like crystals growing. This was taken in late October this past year out at the Hollow, of course, (:
Many thanks for all the treasured comments on "Winter Night's Walk". I think reading your comments is one of my favorite things to do. It's so neat to see what each person sees that I didn't see when I was playing with whatever I posted.
Your comments mean so much to me, and sure keep my ego strong, LOL!
Thank you for all the faves too. It just never ceases to amaze me that I get faves, LOL!

A super frosty capture. I love how the frost looks like hairs standing on end, as if it got a fright.

The frosty world in minature, geat close pov!
What a wonderful capyure Rita
Beautiful capture dear :) The angle of the light is ideal, really shows off the details and gives it a touch of drama.
We actually had some of this frost here in Jacksonville Florida not too long ago...burrrr... I was able though, to save my three avocado trees from the icy grip.. Wonderful capture, you can really see the intricate nature that is frost! [=

The frost fairies at work! Such a delightful magical landscape. So fleeting, but no less magic.
frost can be in so many shapes. certainly beautiful
Cool photo work!
Excellent shot! While at this stage many in my climate curse the cold and yearn for spring, there's a lot of beauty when the temperature goes down...
great details in full view....super shot! :-)
