Wonderfult lighting is wonderful erland
another fine capture of the mythic & garish costumes & gestures of these carneval characters, this one awash in the lines & hues of their gowns, washing down the shot like someone spilled liquid satin all over the walls. But equally nice is the fine detail of the wall behind them, and that you caught their lush presence against that open decayed wall to begin with. The dramatic line of shadow (left half) is quite fine as well. Fine work again, Flavia.
Don't know of they were posing for you or for the public or were just being intimately involved. You captured what counts in the light. Even the background is appropriately fitting in texture and style. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful! It makes me think of a tableau vivant. Is striking a pose, something participants at the Carneval do regularly? Wonderful colors, textures, and poses. I like how they are captured in a column of light. Beautiful image!
