Switzerland, Berner Oberland, Jungfraujoch, 3500 m
Some of you said they want to walk there. That could be very dangerous because you could fall into such crevasse like this which are everywhere and often covered with snow, so you cannot see.
To discover the glaciers you have to hire a leader.

As entranced as I am at the sight of these mighty glaciers, I know better than to want to walk on them, just as I know better than to walk on the lake when it's covered in ice. :-) this is a fabulous shot...so are you a glacier guide or were you just on a guided walk yourself?

How could you be more clear to emphasize the danger of those deep crevices than showing it like you did here!? Whew, better not fall down there and reappear as Hermann Oetzi centuries later! Outstanding work, Rita! :)
What scares me is that it looks like you are standing right over the middle of this crevasse, and not on safe snow!! You are a brave soul!!
I would be a bit squeamish standing that close; but, if you want good pictures, you must take risks. A striking photo!
