Description
This morning we received news from Germany that my 98 year old grandmother passed away at 2am. She had been very ill with pnemonia for the past few weeks.
She now is in the arms of the angels.
YOU'RE IN THE ARMS OF THE ANGELS
MAY YOU FIND SOME COMFORT HERE
It is so sad her passing as it was only 2-1/2 years ago that we discovered that she and my father's family where still alive and living in Germany. Because of unfortunate circumstances we had no idea my grandmother was alive in Germany.
We still are missing part of the family but someday will find them as well I think.
For today, I am sad at her passing but know that she is feeling much better now. In the past year she was unhappy and frustrated because she was loosing her eye sight and her legs did not work so well anymore.
She will be very much missed by us all.

Beautiful design.
What a very sad story, Liz I am so sorry for your loss, you have created a beautiful tribute here to your grandmother, who will be so proud as she looks down on you. hugs Jane xx
A beautiful, touching image. A lovely memorial and tribute to your Gran. One more angel in the Heavens to watch over you. My condolences for your loss and a shame you could not have found her sooner. Mores the pitty.
I'm sorry I missed seeing this earlier. My condolences to you and your family on your loss. Hugs.
This is a very touching tribute... At least you found this part of your family and were able to be in touch with them, even for such a short time. I hope that you are able to contact the other parts of your family, and in time get to know them as well! :o)
Looking at this so much later, it is both heartwarming and sad. I'm glad you had the opportunity to meet your Grandmother, she will always be with you.
