Description

The girls of the village look at her in her fine gowns and beautiful carriage and envy the daughter of the manor. As a child she was carefree and pampered and dreamed of the handsome prince who would look at her adoringly and she would fall madly in love. Tonight she met the man she would marry. He was no prince and far from handsome. This man was older than her father and believed that wives were just for having children. The marriage had been arranged at her birth - the union of the two great families. She was given no choice and had no voice in this. Now she is thinking of the girls in the village with their worn and patched clothes who would meet a boy and fall in love. Oh how she envied them. thanks for looking keep smiling Chris :o)
