Great render. I wish we could see the figure in the foreground a bit better.
I agree, a nice render, I'd suggest bumping up the brightness,levels or curves to really bring out the foreground.

Good composition, if a bit dark, my friend. Perhaps one of the 'God rays' could have illuminated the figure. The scene is threatening, with the light about to go, and our adventurer now unsure of the success of his venture.
