Description
This flaming creature is for Emilio, aka Campo-Diaz (here), in my opinion, one of our best. Emilio can be seen on several sites, but here, he's graced us with collages: What's in them? A cornucopia of his exquisite lines & colors, his exquisite drawings & paintings, his creatures, plants, textures, photos--whatever his eye leads him to--all brought together like a great Dance Troupe under one roof. They're teeming metropolises-for-the-eye, joyous & jazzy sight-ensembles; and as a painter-friend said after she sat with his work for an hour: "I feel like I've been reborn in the middle of a huge & joyous ballet..." This 'creature' expresses the passion I feel when I look at your work, Emilio. He's not at your level to be sure: But he's your biggest & most passionate fan: You've given more inspiration than you know...

This one fairly leapt off the page at me and that's the kind of work I just love. First, I looked at it, then I went and looked at his gallery. It makes sense on its own and as his dedi. I see faces, light, power, and color---- and it's just --awesome!!

It looks Like a bird,flying in a space of colour.I "feel" your draw.Well defined forms and strong lines.There are no hesitation at all in all the draw.There are very sweetness with the pencil...and there is so many transparency in it all. From The center are growing coloured shadows and luminosity.Very Fine work .I like very much the watercolour.SO BEAUTIFUL Mark.

I have never really understood abstract art, but as I grow older I can take my time to study it more. In this I see all sorts of pictures today, and maybe tomorrow I will see yet more images within the picture. It seems to me that abstract art has to be really studied for a length of time, and never rushed. Maybe it means different things to individuals. What I enjoy the most at this moment are the wonderful cheerful colours you chose, the fluidity and softness of style. Thank you Mark, hugs Jane xx
