Description
There seems to be more Eagle owls being seen around the UK apart from the pair breeding in North of England via perhaps escaped birds or from some that have been in Scotland, now a huge one was spotted at my Alma mater in Bristol some 35 miles from my Home.
They are huge birds at around 4kg and with up to a 6 foot wingspan, and the huge glowing orange eyes I always find so hypnotic!

I'd love to see one of these. I bet they just knock your socks off with their presence. The "ear" tufts are wonderful and those glowing orange eyes are intimidating ... and I'm too big for it to eat! Still it sets me back a bit to think it is so very large!
