Description
Nearly sunset in this shot and during the winter months brings these lovely blue shadows. This is my view at the bottom of my sledding hill.
I hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend.
Thanks for the view. All comments appreciated (even if you don't like snow)! :-)

Lovely open feeling, by co incidence my latest post has the same hues in a different setting.
Now when I remember spring, All the joy that photography can bring, I will be remembering The shadow of your smile Now when I remember spring, All the love that postworking can bring, I will be remembering The shadow of your smile... Stellar in all things Winterwise in this wonderful shot, Jodie! Pardon my paraphrasing, but I think of that song whenever shadows are involved.
What a beautiful, clean capture; it makes me want to be there!
Beautiful winter scene!
amazing untouched snow and great shadows along with good compo, nice!
How clean, clear and open this is. The snow is the star of the show here. Pritine capture.
wow, you really got some different shots from this place...This is much more complex than it seems at first blush: The bush-line & tree in the background are accompanied by all kinds of little branches sticking up through the snow, like little facial hairs that got a bit outa hand; and the horizon has an elegant 'spare branch' sticking out (perfect & forlorn, I love it). And the blue shadows are actually complex, because of all the textures...Lots of stuff happening in a fairly open shot. I think it's very sensitive, I love goodoldboy's comment, agree that it's clean, and a definite fav for me. Real winter bleakness filled with beauty...
Beautiful!
A beautiful shot. with a unique "double horizon" effect. Great capture.
superbly done !
Very well said Harry! Superb capturing of scenes I only see in places like Renderosity. I wanted to comment on the depth created by the fence until I noticed it was a buried fence! :-|
wow Jodie... what a beauty! love it.
gorgeous winter compo Jodie i love this !
great winter landscape
cannot go by this without a comment. Such a gorgeous winter paradise! (even if I now in April don't want to have more of the white stuff)
