Description
soars, sings, dances, laughs, cries, creates touching portraits & wonderful visions, and some of the subtlest humor this side of anywhere. A simple stroke for him is--yes--an act of love; the subtlest shading, a caress; pencils seemed to have been made for him, and that doesn't count his dedis, the wonderful encouragement he gives, or the way he fills the 2DForum & site with love & support galore... Martin, I know I'm not part of the forum-family anymore, but I still go there & look; and between there & your gallery, it's been a pleasure to walk under your eaves. I wish you many more years of vision & creation; you certainly inspire us in ours--your fans love what you do here!

Mark after reading your glowing dedication to your friend you have me wanting to check out his work. I know he will be touched by this wonderful image you've put so much of yourself into.
Lovely flow of colors and a nice movement Mark! 5*
Featherlike and delicate, and yet it has such power.
and there will be many more years of drawing for sure, mark :) and with people like you it's a bit like flying through it all, or, like looking at things with a different idea and vision! something funny is that you post an image wich resembles very much of some of my images i did a while ago, i love the flowing shapes and their drift, they appear trusted to me. i'll sent the same wishes and thoughts back to you, all the best and thank you very much for this, it touched me a lot and my day is way brighter than it was before. it's wonderful, mark, thank you!
A lovely flying saurian, so I see this graceful drawing. It looks so very beautiful
flow of color and line - inspired work. it's wonderful how these lines are built. Well done indeed.
I've visited Martin's gallery and you have honored him well with this image. The moment I saw it I thought of flight, of birds, of the sky. It floats serenely and gives me a sense of peace.
Great image!!
A fine hand made pice, Mark. Wonderful pencil work. Very touching words for an old friend and artist, too. Splendid and heartfelt dedication.+5
Delicate creation, Mark, which you excell at. The scan has preserved the fine details. I must check out G's gallery soon.
Like a bird "making fun" with all that space around..or like a person floating in a calm atmosphere of dream...The colours and the lines involve themselves perfectly with energy and swetness! I can imagine de smile of Martin.:))) BEAUTIFUL DRAW!!
very fine image, mark
Beautiful image and a great dedication.
Oh how beautiful! The colors as so aquatic and it flows like it is free to move as if in water. There are even some soft, tentacle-like fingers. It also has a wonderful symmetry, much like a natural seashell. It is exquisite and a great dedi.
Wonderful to see these happy colors from you mark! great dedi to Martin. maybe you can provoke him to start with color too???
to me it looks like a marine creature, probably due to the aquatic tones, sailing under the surface and captured from the bottom. most impressive, Mark!
tellement delicat ! Beautiful !
