Description
Evening all :o)
Sorry about not being around much guys ,still doing a few bits in the house :o).
This swan caught my eye as its beak was not as orange as the rest of the swans on lake Windemere and of all the swans I`ve seen ,this seems a bit of a rarity .This is exactly the colour of its beak .
Thanks for taking a look and take care
Mick

A superb shot! Danny will know what it is!
Great pose Mick yes it is a Whooper swan which are very similar to the Bewicks Swan but are a little bit bigger, and the Yellow part of the beak always has more than the black part.

That's the way MY neck feels tonight, after starting to paint my back porch, ugh what have I gotten myself into??? Great shot, no matter what kind he is!!
Not familiar with this swan so I'm glad Ronnie and Danny tagged it. I see a lot of muted swans here. Fantastic shot.
Wonderful capture! I love the swan, but I'm quite drawn to the light reflecting on the ripples in the water.
