Unripened barley swayed by the wind is a truly beautiful sight. Here is a patch of barley - the stuff that beer comes from.

Thanks for your ratings - Always appreciated. Durley is correct about hops being needed in beer making. The barley gets turned into malt a process where the barley grains are wetted to make them germinate. This causes the grain to heat up which maltsters use with heated air to cook the grain into malt.
