Description

Lesbentley has a fine image in the LWITG of the photo forum for this first week of February. The image is shot in North Wales. So, I thought of our trip to the UK in the fall season of last year and this place... Plas Newydd, home of eccentric ladies in an eccentric place in an eccentric house. I spent more time outside, met the gardener and the cats, saw the trees the gardener was justly proud of having and walked where the ladies might have. This is an imaginary path in the wood, grown over, difficult to pass through. I saw this eccentric path and liked it at Plas Newydd, near Llangollen. Search the name on the web and you will see the story of the ladies who moved from home to live here in a fine but somewhat strange home.
