I have no idea what's behind door #674, or who may have passed under its archway over the many decades. No doubt there's a myriad of life's stories connected to this old building, but unfortunately most have been forgotten with the passage of time. Constructed in the 1800's, it's located in a neglected, sparsely populated area near downtown Memphis. But in its day it must have been a hub of activity. A lot of energy still remains connected to this now barricaded passageway. Quietly standing there that late Sunday afternoon you could feel it and almost imagine the daily human drama - tragic, euphoric, and everything in between that unfolded around door #674 as the years flew by. I'd love to be inside there sometime late at night. In addition to building entry, that passageway could possibly be a portal to another place in time. Who's to say no? Just imagine! marshall
