"Throughout the Lounge Wars, there were other voices.... voices for peace, for understanding, to save the ecology of worlds. The most prominent group were Da Blumen, a group of travelling musicians, performers, and odd men out. By covering their features with blue make up, they became their own tribe, of no idetifiable race, country, origin, no creed other than protect the innocent. Through syncopation and hypnotic beats and rythums, Da Blumen enthrall the masses with a combination of origianl work and cover tunes sung by powerful performers. After the Wars, Da Blumen continued their touring shows, with different groups of highly trained Blumen appearing across the known skies." The Lounge Wars, Chapter 15...... All We are Saying.... Openning the windows to the Lounge, letting the new air in. Showed the Girls my DVD of Blue Man Group.... so enthralled, The Twins are going to incorporate a version of "I Feel Love" in their act..... Not quite Donna Summer, not quite Venus Hum....or Vanessa Mae... something unique.
Very spooky effect!
Awesome HOMME BLEU ;-) I have no idea how to describe what I’ve seen, but I want to see it again! The performance artists known as Blue Man Group have been using “invented instruments” made of tubes and creating otherworldly music for years as part of their strangely wondrous stage show, but for The Complex Rock Tour, they’ve really out done themselves. Part Pink Floyd, part Moby and all Blue Man, the current tour is a must see for fans of arena rock spectacle.
...just give peace a chance ! Thanx 'MagikUnicorn', for the explanation, fascinating & interesting. Actually 'Blumen' translated from German into English, stands for 'Flowers", there you have it...or in the words of Rolf Harris : 'blooming marvellous' or as as Linda Ronstadt would say 'Blue Bayou' Nice character, Cheers BB
Well at least these Blue-blokes aren't just numbers, no, really Collin, they sound like a wonderful act to catch or was that caught in the act...er, whatever ! So glad the gals are going add some (electric !) blue spice into their act, I can hardly wait...do we need to wear some protective gear ? Well done my whacky friend ! ~Cheers~
spooky dude, interesting and promising character
