Decades of Birthdays come and gone last we laid loving eyes upon our mother's, daughter's smiling face, another time, another place.... stay close as down life's road we go be futures fraught with rain or snow and let us share the joy, sorrow, that each the other's love might know My heart for you, The day you were born dreams were born too... Every parent has dreams for their child, many parents have expectations that their child will acheive what the parent didn't in their lifetime, thats natural but instead we must put our dreams aside and allow the child to develop their own dreams, allow the mistakes and lessons and simply be there for support and to hug and kiss the hurt away. Our lives were very different from others, you know the history well. When faced with the problems we had, there are often harsh and angry words and in our case those words were born of fear.The hardships we endured led us to the place we are today...It was a long and difficult road with many seperations but there was never a seperation of heart. Through the years I learned to let my heart listen instead of my ears. The words were still in the way but the heart knew it would come full circle and it has... Who knew that you would grow into the confidant, strong and wonderful woman you have become? Heart knew, heart feeds us what we need, when we need it, leads us where we need to go. If every human was born with full knowledge of everything, we would never learn and we would have no need, no purpose, no reason to exist. Everyday would be the same, every night would have no dreams. Heart is always there but only as a whisper for those who are not ready to hear. So in our human experience, heart waits till the time is right for you to listen to your heart. Heart says its time...the right time, now. And so today I give you my heart anew, filled with love, full of hope and full of knowing, washed clean of the past...today my heart feels exactly the same as it did the day you were born. I gave you this image once before but I never gave the real reason for the tiger. A mother tiger must be alert at all times to protect her cubs. So the tiger represents ever vigilant and protective.
