Today I received the sad news of Nikita's passing. You all know last year I made an image for her to know we are thinking of her and sending well wishes. Well her body was not strong enough and thus lost the will to live. Here is the last words she spoke to me:
Hi, Antoinette!
My mom is letting me come for a little while, a sort of at-home break. :) I'm home-schooled for now. My heart is still very weak so everyone is a little concerned but I figure each day that I wake up is a blessing. I thank you for this wonderful sentiment. It does capture how I feel on certain days, that's for sure. But I do not walk it alone. I have my family and my faith. And, of course, I have my friends here that always add another smile to my life. I just want to say that whatever happens know that I cherished your kindness to me and I always thought your photo manips were wonderful. You have a real talent and I hope you are always able to use it to bring a little more beauty into this world. Thank you, Antoinette. :)

My precious little Nikita. This is a sad day for me hearing the news and knowing you are taken from us. But to a better place where no one will hurt you anymore. A better life for our precious angel, so young and loveable. I did not know you long, but in the short while I learnt to know and love you was your gift to me. May you spread your angel wings and fly my little one. I will miss you dearly Nikita.
And for the family of Nikita. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

This is a wonderful image and wonderful words to say what your heart is feeling.. We are all sad, maybe even more than that... but angels never stay that long... and that´s what Niki was and she's home now.
A most wonderful tribute and dedi Antoinette.. I had the privilege of having known Nikita a little bit.. I consider that a most precious gift. Though I knew for months the day of her passing would come soon I was heartbroken when I saw the news.. I knew it already when her twin sister uploaded an image with no comment attached to it. She always attached some narration so Nikita would answer. The image itself says enough.. Nikita was more then a child with an horrific past.. Her joy, wisdom, spiritual strengh and her love she displayed were unique. She truly is a Higher Being or, as we call her, an Angel.. I had not prayed for a long, long time, but since her passing I have prayed for her and especially for her twin sister who has been left behind.. If Nikita could not make it into heaven then nobody of us can for I have never met a soul more pure and beautiful then hers.. And oh God, how am I missing her already.. In one of her last site-mails to me she wrote; "See you in Heaven Charley.." I daubt if I can make it into heaven but hope she will visit me where ever I am send when my time has come.. I will never, never, never forget her...
