Description
Simon is looking on the shelf for a circuit diagram to know which tube to replace to fix a rolling flipping in his TV. He found that the vertical gain control in the back was ineffective. The last time this happened they had a tube tester at the pharmacy and sold these diagrams as well as replacement tubes. A 6J6 triode was exactly what he needed on his return after comparing the diagram he bought to the real chassis at home. He considered a potion mixed in the mortar and pestel but decided it was not him it was something in the set. Mr. Fixer, I guess.

The 5U4 made a better space ship. (It paid to have a girl friend whose dad ran a TV repair shop) Maybe the tunnel tube diode is out. Nice remembrance.
