Fine job. La Perouse is very present in Tolouse, his home city. I visited the museum and his monument, adorned by the very few parts of his ships that were found after the shipwreck. They say that the last words of Louis XVI befor going to the guillotine were "Any news from La Perouse?". There weren't. His fleet had been completely destroyed by a hurricane off Australia.
