Description
Afternoon all :o)
At last ,apart from a bit of touching up ,we are done .The carpets went down over 2 days finishing today :o)
I had a belated Xmas present come yesterday .A f1.8 nikon 50mm ,which is a cracking little lense .The above shot of the dried herbs was taken with it about half an hour ago .
Thanks for taking a look and take care

interesting shot......
Splendid composition and colors my friend
It doesn't look sharp to me,Mick, is that intentional?
Interesting close up mate, it does look a wee bit soft, but that may be intentional as andrea says, all that aside though it's a very creative closeup mate, and who'd have thought of shooting dried herbs, well done mate!
Congrats Mick for your new camera! Excellent picture :)
Great work Mick and congratulations on the new camera, I bet you'll get a lot of use from it.
Wow, Santa must not have gotten your new address in time--what a great present!! And what a shot, I'm going to have to start looking thru my cupboards to see what i can find!!
Beautiful image, Mick... and congratulations for new camera! :)
marvelous textures
Great abstract capture with smooth colors.
congrats on your new toy...smile... like the idea of this shot, would never have guessed it to be chives..
Great texture, and I like the soft color. This would make a great design for fabric!
Congrats on the new toy Mick!!! I love those from me to me gifts!!!! Very interesting abstract!
Great shot.
Happy new camera! I had not thought about herb macros but I see they have a fascination of their own!
f1.8...my that is a 'cracking' lens! A tad soft, but still interesting color and texture. Congrats on the new lens, Mick, I'm sure you will really enjoy it!
Wonderfully abstract capture Mick! Interesting colors and textures, who knew chives could look so cool???
