Description
Spent all day finishing up the Valentines theme for the Xbox360 and submitted it for approval.
The most fustrating part turned out to be my favorite part of the Friend Backdrops. Trying to get the leaf area too look the way I wanted, I was forced to use a hair generator in Blender to get it right. The tiny, flat, one sided leaf plane had about 12 verts. And there are about 6 tiny spheres with the same simulator applied to them. This resulted in over 20 million polygons for this ONE tree!
It nearly killed my PC and tired it up for about an hour. Even after the render was done, the computer would not let me return to the program. I was forced to screencap the render and End Task the program.
The Hearts were rendered seprate and photoshopped on.

cute work!
Impressive work, Richard! Your description displays your tenacity and passion for what you were trying to accomplish! Keep up the good work!!!
Boy, do I know THAT problem! LOL! I did a Japanese maple tree one time that choked my computer to its knees. I later learned tricks to keep the problem in check, but ohhhhhhhhhh my. That was quite an experience! (I did every leaf with shift+d instead of alt+d and my file size ended up over 107,000,000.) I LOVE your valentine tree. Way cool! :)
Wonderful work!!
