Description
The plural of osprey is osprey, right?
Captured three weeks ago at Tecolote Beach, near the port of Topolobampo, in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. The locals simply ignore the large raptors nesting on the telephone poles right above their heads, as if the critters actually belonged there.
Topolobampo translates to "wet cat." Go figger.

Fabulous set of shots!
Absolutely amazing...I love it, excellent shot!!
WOW great pictures, the adult and the babies. What an opportunity to be able to photograph these beauties.
great shots, magnificent birds. I was wondering if this was from Oregon until I read down a bit. You know Topolobampo is also a wonderful Rick Bayless Cafe in Chicago, (where I had my first taste of the very yummy huitlacoche (corn smut)! I guess maybe if you rub a wet cat on your tassles, you might get some?
FANTASTIC SHOTS
