Description
Cooked this up in about an hour. I wanted to do another render of the Falcon and thought I'd combine some other models.
This is a double render. The Death Star and starfield were rendered first (BTW, the Death Star is essentially one giant Digital Carvers Guild plug-in). Then the Tie Fighters and the Falcon are rendered afterwards using GI.
The Tie Fighters didn't follow the Falcon in to the Death Star when our heros were captured (Episode IV) but it's fun anyway.
A fun, easy, and painless render.

This is a great image! Really great Death Star. Considering its simplicity, so many artists get it wrong. Boy, I'm glad I picked up those DCG plug ins.
