Description
Guam has beautiful sunsets most of the time, but usually we didn't have time to take pictures. So on this particular day we set out to photgraph a sunset and we were looking for a suitable foreground. But the sunset just didn't develop. The usual hues that are involved in a normal sunset were missing. One moment it was light, and the next it looked like this.
So we just gave up. There were a few locals at an improvised pier fishing and nothing else. Just us, the warm, moist air, and the Ocean. It was very peaceful, no cars, no people. Guam is so humid that stopping in Hawaii on the way back it seemed cool and dry.
This picture was taken near Merizo at the Southern tip of Guam, Mariana Islands in April 1988 and later scanned.
