As one said earlier, close to an eidetic memory is a pain in the ass--one recalls an animation as well. Bikinis don't work with dolphins. As far as one can tell, they are not interested in brachiation or ape-shame and Dr. Moreau-guilt. Their only interest in chimpanzee technology, on the other hand, may be to get them to another water planet when the time is right. But perhaps humans are not the only bidders. And an irradiated planet seems the wrong gambit somehow, don't you think?
