Description
Here is a chipmunk I saw sitting on a Beech tree limb today. It is a nippy 21°f outside and we got eighteen inches of snow last night into this morning. This photo is taken with my wife's camera as it was first in my reach. A full size view will let you see how pink and cold its nose is. Thank you for looking. Time for me to nap - since 17 of the past 24 hours I have been driving a snow plowing truck. Best to all- GB-

Very lovely capture!
He does look cold! Wonder what drove him out in that weather... perhaps in search of someone else's stash of nuts? :-) So you are the angel that operates the snow plow, huh? Many thanks.:-)
Great photo. You do live in a snowy neck of the woods... :-)
A brave little soul! Guess the weather has been warmer in these normally cool parts of the world...messes everyone up! Great catch! :o)
Cute creature! Well seen, awesome shot!
I've never seen a chipmunk out in this cold, awesome capture. I always thought that they were fair-weathered animals.
I hope he got back into a warm nest quickly...great capture!
Fine detail and interesting capture. He looks like he came out to collect some of that solar gain. I don't think they go into deep hibernation.
Excellent capture.
