Description
3 fractals created in Xaos and signed and layered in The Gimp. I just discovered that The Gimp also has fractal tools. So, I hope to explore those, too. This started out as a Xmas tree farm, then evolved into something more. Happy Holidays again and thanks for any comments you've given me or care to give. I have a lot to learn, but I think that's the beauty of this community--that there are a few caring souls who care to give honest input and encouragement when they have time to people who are at varying skill levels. Best zoomed. Thanks for looking! : )

WONDERFUL DESIGN & COLORS :)
fantastic fractal composition and render result here...love it!
Very pretty. Love it!
Fabulous image and mood!!!
I wanted to comment on this for the longest time...again your design sense is all over your work, mixed in with your equally mystical sensibilities. You know, one of the reasons I don't give criticism to you (which you encourage from your viewers) is that I don't work in these media at all; but also because in your visions there is completeness. I think your life in the arts gives you that, to begin with. A fractal & mixed media artist may be able to say 'this should be stronger, this weaker'; but to me it is the vision that hits me most; and they are sumptuous. The only thing I would say is what I say to myself & every other artist: Keep going deeper, keep breaking down the ventricles of your heart, keep flowing and gushing...basic advice for everyone! As for the image: The big circle atop is rendered with gentle morphing hues, almost pearl-like; and the light lines going into it (and out of it) are enchanting evocations of winter's lights & snowflakes & magic. Your violets, greens, blues and whites seem the right choices throughout; and I love how the light-branches create a tiny spark of light when they contact your orb. Kind of a 'cosmic fireworks' version of winter; and it's magical and, to me, very peaceful. Sorry I got to this now—it's the 2d day of summer! (Great timing, Mark!) But it's never too late...I love this.
