Continued on our way
Tangled in a web of trees
The moon hung trap in time
The stars glitter and giggle—free
To move and dance beyond.
For that belief instant time had stopped
And I stood wrapped in memories
On that cool November night,
In that pale golden light
There was a pause, a chance to breathe
Before we both, the moon and I,
Continued on our way.
