Description

This was also taken in October, the same day as my previous upload, "October Zinnia". I really loved how the sun was hitting this flower and it is what made me run in to get the camera. I ended up with a couple of nice shots that day. I was thrilled to learn that "The Color of Fall in Southern California" was chosen for LWITG. Thank you for the honor :) I hope you are all experiencing a great week. (15 days til Christmas...hehe) Hugs, ~Melinda~

Is Christmas that close? I feel like I just celebrated New Year's 2008. Tempus fugit. Superlative composition of the overhead light illuminating the orange and yellow petals and pistil in this fine macro, Melinda!
