Description

I'm away but had this variation with me, so I decided to upload it. This was another variation on Gunsan's original. This one's more reflective I think. (And Zoomed, you'll see more of the 'sparkle'...) From the 2D Forum "Metamorphosis" project...

I love the unexpected qualities of this image. I just saw its companion and for me, the companion piece holds a wonderful, liquid quality where this one reminds me more of something botanical...perhaps an intimately close look at tree roots or some such plant structures. I love the fact that I can see such things, despite the colors which would suggest OTHER things all together; that is a part of the beauty and challenge of art--to draw those unexpected associations out of viewers as you've done with this piece and the one before it. Each of them challenges challenges the viewer, and I love that sense of challenge, as well as the heartfelt dedication behind each of them...Wonderful, provocative work!
