Description
We're back on Humboldt Bay, I needed to get out of the house and get some air. All that food at Trent and David's was so good, but I was stuffed just like the turkey.
This is another dock, they're all old and still functional~~and beautiful!!

Excellent capture. Blue and green, great shot
Love the blues and greens ... gorgeous!
beautiful abstract marilyn, caught to feel almost like a painting, and (with susank & tara) the blues & greens are powerful & they glisten. And I love those squiggly reflection lines too. It's really a vibrant piece. You ought to paint some day (if you already haven't)...You got nice detail on the rafters too.
Nothing wrong with wanting to get out for fresh air especially when you come back with super images as this, fabulous tones and I agree with anahata.c, it is very much like an abstract painting! great stuff!
Beautiful shot... On the first sight, I didn´t recognize, that it´s an photography.
Gorgeous abstract Marilyn. You are soooo good at these images! Well done girl. :)
Very nice... Aloha
The wonderful scent of creosote. When it has just the right age it's a draw for woodpeckers. Like fine Bourdeau.
Is that a yacht mast thats reflected in the water top right Marylin? there seems to be more peeking through the gaps at the top as well. Have you used a filter to get those greens and blues? A very interesting image, and thought provoking, raises all sorts of questions, I love those Blues and Greens especially the Blues that highlight the beams. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!!
beautiful angles and lines
Agree with James, the geometry is beautiful :)
Me three on the geometry; and the luminous water is gorgeous too. Great one!
Beautiful work!
I enjoy old docks for the excitment and challenge they create. I often skip over missing boards and balance on single rails to settle into a spot at the end where I can be alone and enjoy the view. Lovely mood.
Great reflections, very well done! Clive
Very graphic, superb effect Marilyn!
Like a maze, and subdued by the colors. Excellent!
wonderful colors warm hug, Linda
Wow, fine capture of crossbeams galore, Marilyn! Stellar geometric pattern in play here.
Love the colors....and all the shapes
wonderful shot
Where do I begin with this? Eh, I'll just say I like the whole thing...but seriously, there's so much in this that works so perfectly. The blue and green colors are absolutely fantastic, so incredibly subtle and yet vivid. The light is captured perfectly and the reflections are what really make this pop for me. In short, I love it!
The contrasts created in the reflections is amazing. Great lighting day for this capture.
