Description
Today I was driving a back road and my Boss was riding with me. He spotted this buck on the run across a hillside. I went a few hundred yards down the road and got turned around. Came back and parked, scanning the woods for the deer...nothing. I took my camera and walked up the hill until I found the track. I walked cautiously along the side of the hill following the trail. About a hundred yards up the hill side I crested a ridge and looked to my right. There only a couple hundred feet away was this magnificent animal - watching his back track to see what was following. Three more days and he will have eluded the hunters here. Hope you enjoy the photo as much as I did getting it. Best to all -GB-

Excellent capture.
Wonderful capture!
stunning!
bravo, an excellent shot!
Lucky you! and nice photo.
Amazing! I thought they looked at the calendar and didn't allow photos until hunting season was over. They definitely know where they're safe and not, if you don't count roads.
I love it! He is magnificent! I can never catch them. Excellent shot!
Wonderful capture, it's well camoflaged in this brown environment.
He certainly is Magnificent looking! You are either very stealthy or he's just lucky to be alive, LOL! Terrific shot and I bet it really was exciting to get it!
Very nice capture!!
oh wonderful capture!
So what you are telling me is I have to give my Daddy a real load of crap for not having found a way to bring him home????? He's a nice one!!! I was wondering when we would see some deer pictures on here :)
gg pigtails, I am sure your Dad will be searching for that deer until friday afternoon. I was glad to get photos of the buck out in the woods instead of from the roadside or the truck seat. It was fun- a once in a lifetime event for this area.
Whooweeeee!!! Look at the rack on that guy! He's a keeper!!! LOL ;p But seriously, I agree with you, I would much rather shoot them with a camera and it is real special when you catch them in a pose!!! Wonderful capture!!
Wonderful capture
Your efforts were well rewarded, he's a magnificent fellow, great capture, well done!
