My computer is not as powerful as some think. The main resource here is patience... which I am running out of. If I post again my images may be simpler.

Sheer delight - this is fantastic. I do not what to sound materialistic but this render would not be the same if the boy found just a card with an Oxfam donation receipt in it.
Amazing and detailled scene! I think, your patience is appreciated. ;-)

Completely delightful! This is the magic that seems to have been lost to so many as we grow up. It's wonderful you still have the vision of what it was like a child. Merry Christmas to you!
CPU cycles and memory never make for a great image- only the skill and imagination of the creator. A super scene- I want to wake up to this Christmas morning!! Wonderful!

Awesome scene! Great detail.
Really fantastic!
A real eye-popping attention grabber here, Peter. So much to see, yet the scene reamins uncluttered. You certainly have a special way of treating us to visual fantasy and reality. Merry Christmas to you.
Don't ever stop Peter, your renders are full of the most amazing detail, and you are up there at the top of that Christmas Tree. The work you put into your renders is absolutely mind blowing, and I look forward to your uploads with a longing that you never disappoint. I sit and study them for about 15 minutes before I start to comment, then I keep breaking off to go and have another look, so it takes a while to type it all. This is fantastic, you have captured the spirit of Christmas, the child looking over the tops of the houses, the magical joy in his eyes. The image could be how he sees it in his minds eye. It reminds me somewhat of how my daughter maybe saw her Christmas's when she was a tot. She has always been asked what she wants come Christmas time(and her Birthday is 3rd Jan), when she was two going on three all she wanted was cars that went round and round. she got a playmat with streets on and quite a few cars, it wasn't until later years we found out she meant a Scale Extric not a stupid mat. Lol. Fantastic work Peter, stupendous detail, such a busy scene but not over the top, it has a certain order to it, after all it is Christmas, a magical time for Children. A bit early but Merry Christmas to you and yours. Bravo!!!!!
Sir, you never disappoint or fail to amaze me with your epic images. This is gorgeous. It sort of reminds me of the wonderful art of Norman Rockwell, very true to life in every detail. I think I'll have to fav this one, so I can come back and look at it again and again, since every time my eyes go back to it, I see something new. Fantastic just doesn't say enough.
