Description
This is my first crack at creating a character based on the "rebel marksman" character from "Star Wars: Battlefront II" video game. Although I could easily improve on the textures to match the video game, I'm not so sure that I really like the character enough to make the effort. I'm considering just making female rebel soldiers/commandos from scratch. What do you think? Also, what do you think about the heavy blaster conversion?

Looks good to me, although I'm no expert. Sounds like a new model is needed if you're not that happy about this one.
Blaster looks great, parts of the uniform also look great (esp. the helmet). Keep experimenting, if you feel that this model isn't up to snuff, then by all means start fresh. That's not to detract from this model at all. I'm constantly changing things as I go about my workflow, so this sort of thing happens all the time. To me, the heavy blaster is definitely a keeper -_^
I too like the heavy blaster. There really needs to be more variety of SW weaponry as poser models. If you have any WEG d6 Star Wars Roleplaying books, or even WOTC's d20 Arms and Equipment guide, theres a bunch more SW weapons in the books with pictures of them. Aside from lightsabers, it seems all we have for poser models is Han's DLL-44 and the common Blastech T-21 stormie issue rifle. Theres a few more like the wookie bowcaster, but still, more variety would be nice. I like the work you've done with her sofar. Definitely keep at it. Is about time the SW universe gets filled out a little more in the 3d art department :)
