Description
This project is made up of many different bits and pieces left over from some previous uploads.
The inspiration came from the recent economic news concerning the "Big Three" car manufacturers. Living in Windsor Ontario, the heart and soul of the car industry, I just had to find a way to express my feelings about what is about to happen to Both Detroit and Windsor and the others cities.
With a little imagination, your can substitute the little running Bolt Fellow for an autoworker, and the you know what for the Ghost of the past, i.e.(the environment).
Hope you can find the humor in this no matter how sad the situation is becoming!

I can see the auto-crisis in this, symbolized humorously, yes, but also with real pain. (That worker is about to be grabbed by doom!) But I can also see your love for forms & the creatures made out-of-them, your fine sense of lighting, those wonderful collages of (what?) old rusted auto parts? They're wonderful pile-ups, whatever they may be! And the whole thing is like a late night dead end in a foggy town, with a touch of macabre humor, and a real sense of 'character' inside even the most mechanical beings. Some of your figures are almost cartoons made from spare parts...And I love the red against the green in the skull...Very skillful & vibrant work; depressing, yes; but with artistry as keen as yours, that's hope right there...
