Description
It could only be Yorkshire
I doubt there is anywhere else in the UK that this could have been taken.
This is the top of Wharfedale in Yorkshire.A wonderful place to see with many fascinating features.Rambling hills and dales absolutely ideal for walkers.Waterfalls and rivers..hills with jagged escarpments.Old dry stone walls and barns, sheep and cattle peacefully feeding off the land.Tiny village hamlets, farm buildings on the hillsides..dogs rounding up the sheep. It so often seems a different world.

This is just such beautiful countryside, why do we travel all over the world and miss many gorgeous places in our own country? Wonderful work thanks for sharing
Wonderful to see this and read your commentary. This is where one half of my family is from. Mother moved south when she was expecting me. A stunning shot.

Wonderful capture with so special lines. My compliments ;O)
Wonderful the way the wood of the fence leans one direction and the windblown grass leans another. Soft colors and a welcoming feeling come through.
Beautiful Scene!!
Awesome shot! Your colors are always so rich and intense.
I just love to see this wonderful world through your eyes...smile
an almost surprisingly geometric composition of such a natural scene. it reminds me of how much man has shaped this countryside. was this once all forest? as was mentioned above, great lines and light.
