Description

A second view of a back woods Mississippi Cypress Lake we discovered last February, and returned to last weekend to see if there was any fall color at the place. There was. And the back light from the sun was quite corporative as well. Cypress trees vary somewhat, but they turn a deep rusty red in the fall with some species turning color starting at the trunk and working outwards towards the end of the branch. Not sure if these trees were like that, but if so we arrived too late to witness the duo autumn tone. The first post from here was called Return to Cypress Lake. If your area still has some color lingering around like we do here in Memphis, then get out and enjoy it while you still can! marshall
